Textile raw materials are in shortage, and most fibres like cotton and wool require significant resources to produce, even if organically grown. Keeping materials pure is crucial and treating them as raw materials throughout all their lifecycles. Even a small blend (3-5%) fuel-based elastic material can either compromise the recyclability of the product throughout its lifecycle or necessitate a resource-heavy recycling process to separate and recover pure raw materials.
BFlex®MONO stretch yarn enables the incorporation of stretch function within a mono-material. This can reduce production resources, simplify maintenance and increase the longevity of the textile.
